Targeting for DMCs – The Potential of EU (Sustainable) Niche Markets

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for ETOA members!

In collaboration with the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) and the Ministry of Tourism, ETOA is hosting a half-day workshop focused on exploring opportunities in the European sustainable tourism market.

This hands-on session will help Destination Management Companies (DMCs) understand EU tourism trends, sustainability opportunities, and strategies to strengthen their market positioning.

🎯 Key Learning Outcomes

Participants will learn how to: 
Access and use the CBI database for valuable market insights;
Integrate sustainability principles into product development;
Identify and strengthen their unique selling propositions (USPs).

🧾 Participation Requirements

Open to companies not previously part of CBI programs;

Must be ETOA members with a functional website;

English proficiency and a personal laptop required;

One participant per company;

Participation Fee: Birr 1,000 (non-refundable).

Only 13 slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
